The story of the bundles design with a happy ending. Once, for our permanent customer, for whom we usually make promotional video clips, we urgently needed to make a set for promo on social networks. Well, you know, all these Instagram stories, Facebook posts and other YouTube thumbnails. It’s not that we didn’t want to do it all, to be honest – we’re not so good designers. Video editing – it is, of course, at any moment of the day and night, but the design is somehow not so much.

By the way, about the night. Persistent request from the client came neatly in the evening, when we were already in the bar, and the result was needed for the morning. Well, when have things been any other way? And then Jimmy dawned on, “let’s take the templates and quickly remake them for the customer”. No sooner said than done, right in the bar, we google a cheap bundles design… or something like that. Opened some websites and on MasterBundles found just what we need. Bought it in a few clicks, remade it and sent it to the customer. Bottom line, we saved… no, not like this. We earned (!) $560 on the project and now we provide services to create designs for social networks 🙂 That’s the story. Thank you, guys!

I’ve audited Masterbundels projects and really impressed by its design bundles variations where it covers almost everything, from a pack of icons, gui kit to advanced brushes tools for your design software. This is obviously a solid platform for a designer/artist to start their design career.

My impression of MasterBundles is good. It’s convenient that in the blog, for buyers there are selections on current topics. It saves time.

As far as I understand, the emphasis here is on sales of large products with many elements. It is better to come to such sites having in your luggage a stock of old works, sales of which can be refreshed. I think this option is more suitable for more advanced designers than for beginners.

I feel that there is value in having some of the basics of the work done like templates or effects, it works for certain projects not everything needs to be done from scratch.

The project is helpful for entry level graphic designers giving them the chance to acquire libraries of design elements at a discounted price. As long as the quality of the products is evaluated by experts and the participating designers are satisfyingly compensated for what they offer it is a model that makes sense in pure market terms.

I have not heard of MasterBundles before. I used to participate in Bundles, they were an easy and fast way to make money, until I realized that offering my hard work for pennies reduces the value of that work to pennies, and it doesn’t reflect well on all the time put in. I find that a bundle should instead be ONLY a couple fonts from different typeface families to create a collection of types, allowing people that want an entire typeface to still pay for it.

Yes! In particular, in the case of companies, these platforms seem essential because they have to produce a lot of good designs in a short period of time.
