Curved, comma-shaped rays swirl in one direction around this sun, like flames spinning around a wheel of arches and a spiral center. The motion gives a simple round form a lot of character. Four layers are all it takes, and the rays still rise in clear relief above the spiral core.

Hang it in a kitchen, a patio room or a boho bedroom, or cut several to sell at markets. The rays end in long, thin tips, so smooth the edges lightly with a fine sanding sponge after cutting rather than with coarse paper.
