A slender cross with arrow-pointed tips rises through the middle of this upright rectangular panel, held inside a narrow border. Curved bands and petal shapes gather around it into a mandala that recalls a cathedral window, giving the composition a calm, Gothic rhythm. Each of its 8 layers steps back a little further than the last, so the cross appears to hover in front of the tracery.
Hang it in an entryway or above a bedroom dresser, or give it for Easter, a baptism or a new home. Before gluing, dry-fit the whole stack and line up the outer edges; a few small clamps or a pile of heavy books will keep everything flat while the glue sets.
Digital download. Files included: 8 SVG layer files (one per layer); DXF, DWG and AI files containing all layers; JPG and PNG previews.
