This tall, framed panel gives the Latin cross an architectural, almost Art Deco character: the arms end in flared points, a long slot runs along each arm, and fine ladder-like detailing traces the double outline. Behind the cross, rays fan diagonally out from the crossing while scrolling filigree fills the four corners. Built from 8 stacked layers, the cross stands proud of the rays and the scrolls recede into shadow.
It makes a meaningful piece for a hallway, a prayer corner or a church office, and a thoughtful confirmation or ordination gift. Cut every layer from the same 3 mm (1/8″) plywood so the depth stays even, and stain the rear sheets darker than the cross to keep its outline crisp.
