Completed in 80 AD, the Colosseum is the subject of this wide panel, shown with its tiers of arches, cypress trees and an ancient stone-paved road. Nothing here was traced from a photograph: it is an original Decorartes flow-line design.
It suits an Italian restaurant, a history classroom or a travel-themed living room, and makes a good gift for anyone who has walked around Rome.
Every line connects with the outer frame, so the black layer cuts as one piece with no small parts falling out. A backing board file with the same outer size comes with it.
Size: 450 by 263 millimeters (17.7 by 10.4 in). It can be scaled up freely, but should not be made smaller; minimum line width is 1.3 mm. Plywood, acrylic or MDF about 3 mm thick works well, with black lines set against a terracotta or natural wood backing.
