Over a sofa, a desk or a sideboard, this wide panel fills the wall without crowding it. Its subject is Mount Fuji beneath bands of rolling clouds, adapted from Katsushika Hokusai’s woodblock print Fine Wind, Clear Morning, also called Red Fuji, made around 1831 and today in the public domain.
Decorartes turned the print into black flow lines that join each other and the frame, so the layer comes off the laser bed as one connected piece. A backing board file cut to the same outline completes the two-layer build.
It measures 450 x 296 mm, which is about 17.7 x 11.6 inches. Scale it up as far as you like, but keep it at least this big, as the slimmest lines are 1.3 mm. Good choices are 3 mm acrylic, MDF or plywood, with black lines over pale wood or a warm red backing.
Digital download. Files included: flow-line layer files in SVG, DXF, DWG, AI, and PDF formats, backing board files in SVG, DXF, and DWG, a cut-lines SVG that holds both layers, a transparent PNG preview, a JPG preview, and a README.
