The classic Mexican star piñata in four layers: a round yellow body decorated with a big pink flower, seven long cones striped in Mexican pink, turquoise and yellow with colorful tassels at the tips, hanging from its rope on a black background with colorful confetti. This original multilayer design by Decorartes, inspired by the traditional seven-point piñata of the Mexican posadas, is made for laser cutting, and makes a cheerful decoration for the Christmas season and a fun handmade gift for gift exchanges and Mexican fiestas.
It is built from 4 layers of 3 mm wood: black on top, then Mexican pink and turquoise, over a solid yellow backing. Each deeper layer shows through the cut-outs of the layers above, so the colors of the piñata shine from inside the piece. Every layer is one single connected piece, and all layers share the same outer frame and the same edges, so they line up exactly when glued and no color peeks out between them.
At 200 x 300 mm, or roughly 7.9 by 11.8 inches, it is a vertical piece that fits standard laser beds. You may enlarge it freely, scaling all four layers by the same amount, but should not cut it smaller, because its finest lines are 1.3 mm wide.
The ZIP includes every layer as SVG, DXF, DWG, AI, PDF and EPS, an assembled preview with the four colored layers stacked, an alignment check file, preview images and a README with the colors and the assembly steps.
