The calm, kind face of Jesus fills this portrait panel. It comes from a detail of Heinrich Hofmann’s 1889 painting Christ and the Rich Young Ruler, now in the public domain, which Decorartes reworked into soft black flow lines.
Each line runs into the outer frame, so the line layer holds together as one connected piece and nothing comes loose after cutting. A separate backing board file with the same outer dimensions goes behind it.
Finished size: 300 mm wide and 455 mm tall (11.8 by 17.9 inches). Enlarge it freely, but don’t reduce it; no line is narrower than 1.3 mm. Use 1/8 inch (3 mm) plywood, MDF or acrylic, with the lines painted black or cut from black acrylic and a lighter wood or a color behind them. It suits a prayer nook, a hallway or a parish office, and works as a confirmation present.
