The Winter in Iceland is a photographer’s paradise and this special preset collection is for all those who have visited Iceland during this time of year with its unforgettable light and colors. In various trips to Iceland over the last couple of years I have covered almost all (accessible) natural highlights of this season and picked 26 of the most famous spots for this bundle. I have created different presets for different weather and lighting situations for the the most popular locations like ‘Jökulsárlón Glacier Lagoon’ with an total of 50 Lightroom presets – just click on the screenshots for more details and examples. Some presets will result in subtle adjustments and others in more dramatic changes, but all presets are fully adjustable to suit your photography style.
Even though the presets have specific location names, this collection can also be seen as a general Winter preset collection and a lot of presets are versatile and will work on other locations in other countries, too. Especially glaciers, beaches or coastlines. Often a playful and experimental approach will achieve stunning results in Lightroom.

☞ PLEASE NOTE: Since every day in nature is unique and every photographer uses his or her personal settings, there is no such thing as a ‘one click preset’. You will always have to fine-tune the basic settings – particularly Color-Temperature, Exposure and the Blacks and Whites under the ‘Basic’ panel. Therefore every preset is meant as a starting point. Especially the color-temperature is a tricky setting when it comes to shooting a snowy landscape. Photos often look way too blue – make sure to adjust this setting accordingly in Lightroom or in your camera settings.
