Medicine and creativity are connected. There are different types of people in terms of information assimilation: auditory, visual, discrete, and kinesthetic. During medical school, the phrase “see once, hear a hundred” helped me remember information. Organs, muscles and bones had to be studied carefully, first in textbooks and atlases, then on specimens in the anatomy room. It was then that the aesthetics of the external and internal world of the human being made me fall in love with anatomy.
