I’m happy to introduce the Prairie Girl texture set – a collection of 20 soft grunge textures to help you achieve the ever popular farmhouse look effortlessly.
The textures were inspired by old barns and cottages and my goal was to make them look both elegant and shabby. Featuring light colors and aged paint details for the perfect balance of delicacy and country charm.
The Prairie Girl textures were made by hand using the gelatin monoprinting technique. The process involves laying paint on top of a gelatin plate, manipulating it in various ways, and then “printing” the impression on a sheet of paper. Each of these textures was built by layering 3-5 layers of paint for maximum depth and interest, so make sure to check all the previews for some engaging close ups.
