This is the Gravytrain display font—perfect for logos, headlines, and title case applications. Designed to walk a fine line between modern and traditional stylings this typeface is a go-to display option for clean design and subtle craftsmanship.
Gravytrain does feature several alternate letters and symbols that can be accessed using Opentype capabilities to make this typeface as versatile and helpful as possible. Opentype is a function found in many current design programs that allow designers to quickly access any existing alternates for a letter, symbol or ligature. Opentype functionality is employed across the Adobe Suite, as well as Apple’s Pages, Keynote, iBooks Auther and more. Even Word is in on the game. The primary options can be seen on the 4th and 5th slides (M, N, and several symbols).
If you don’t have a software the supports Opentype, you’ll still be able to use the font on any other software without any issues, sans the alternates.
This package comes with the font as an .otf file and a Help PDF for any questions that may crop up.
A big thank you to the photographers on www.unsplash.com (some of the best free photos on the web) for providing material for the slide backgrounds and texture:
This font may be used for products, logo development, and commericial design. The font file may not be resold as a part of another package or product.
Gravytrain was created using the Fontself plugin for Illustrator, available right here on the Creative Market: https://creativemarket.com/fontself/761404-Fontself-Make-fonts-in-Illustrator
I hope you have a blast using this typeface. I’ve certainly enjoyed making it. If you post anything you make on social media I’d love to see it! Just tag it #gravytrainfont.
