Somatype is a fresh & distinctively modern sans serif typeface with open counters and clean lines making it very legible and versatile. All 5 styles are included in this package, ranging from Light to Heavy.
The key feature of this cool and curvy typeface is the unique quirk produced by connection points joining ascenders in a diametrically opposite position to the norm; this is exemplified best by the lower case ‘d’ & ‘e’ glyphs. Once devised, this unique characteristic was applied wherever possible, keeping the rest of the characters in a sympathetic, rounded style.
Somatype, which literally means ‘body-type’, comes in 5 weights from Light to Heavy. Each style includes a full Latin 1 character set with accents for all Western languages; this family pack contains all 5 fonts in OpenType OTF & TrueType TTF desktop formats plus their web counterparts (WOFF, WOFF2, EOT formats).
