Based on a fifteenth century Textura Blackletter typeface, Octoberfest™ has an historically accurate companion with Lombardic style capitals, Octoberfest Alternate. Both have OpenType features that automatically substitute a subtly unique pair of distressed characters when any lower case character is keyed twice in a row, and feature a Germanic cross icon as the asterisk character.
Octoberfest package comes with both OpenType and TrueType formats.
